Pacific Alchemy

Handmade in Ucluelet, by Joleen Sohier. This is her Marine Debris Collection.

Each necklace is a piece of polished marine debris hand set into sterling silver.

A passion project. With notable marine debris washing up on our coasts at record amounts there is not time like the present to do what you can. We are going through tumultuous times as a collective. Change can be difficult but it can also be beautiful. As an artist my eyes are always looking for beauty. The colour of the plastics that wash a shore are tragically beautiful. It is my passion to keep the environment around me clean for futures to come.

Enjoy this talisman of Oceanic Alchemy.

Cultivating a healthy ocean for the future is our only option.
